We finally got somewhere today! Since Dad’s admission to the hospital on Monday, we have been trying to get some answers as to why his condition has deteriorated so quickly. Everyone was so quick to blame the chemotherapy when we knew in our hearts that it simply could not be the case. He has only had 2 chemo treatments up until now. We spoke with Dad’s oncologist today and shared our concerns, and she agreed that his condition is not consistent with someone who has only gone through 2 chemotherapy treatments. She ordered an MRI on his spine, as well as an MRI on his brain. She also ordered a scan to see if the chemotherapy is working.
